Shipping and Delivery Policy
Matelas Dauphin offers free delivery to most locations in the province of Quebec. Fees may apply to deliveries outside of the province of Quebec.
Matelas Dauphin will contact you in advance and provide you with the expected delivery date for your mattress. The expected delivery date may be subject to change for reasons outside of Matelas Dauphin’s control.
For home deliveries, make sure the dimensions of your door frames, stairs and the anticipated storage room are large enough to allow the delivery people to work safely and without constraint.
Make sure the entrance to your home is clear and accessible at the time of the delivery.
At the time of delivery, the delivery people will wear shoe covers to protect your flooring. They will then install your new mattress and take away all packaging materials.
Furthermore, for an additional fee, we can take away your old mattress. You can speak with one of our representatives for all the relevant information.
Online order shipping policy
Matelas Dauphin offers free shipping on orders over $100.00 before tax. Please be prepared for a delivery date of three to five business days after your order is processed.
Pillows, mattress covers and all other accessories are considered small parcels. Shipping is free of charge throughout the province of Quebec for these small parcel orders of at least $100 before tax. Shipping fees apply to all small parcel orders of under $100 before tax. This policy is subject to change without notice.
Mattresses, bed frames, headboards, footboards and box springs are considered extra-large parcels. These extra-large packages are shipped free of charge in all the territories served by Matelas Dauphin. If you live in a province or territory that is not served by Matelas Dauphin, please contact our customer service department for information on possible delivery options.
We do not deliver to P.O. boxes in remote locations: the Northwest Territories, the Yukon, Nunavut, Newfoundland and Labrador.
No shipping companies deliver on weekends.
Returns and exchange policy
At Matelas Dauphin, our top priority is customer satisfaction. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can exchange or return it for a refund within 30 days of delivery or in-store purchase.
To do so, simply call in at your Matelas Dauphin store with your purchase and the original invoice.
Your purchase must not have been opened or used and must be in original condition.
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your new mattress, you have the option to exchange it for another mattress of your choice within 120 days of purchase. That’s our satisfaction guarantee.
All purchases made online can only be exchanged in store. Any refund or balance on an exchange will be credited in accordance with the original payment method, with delivery fees deducted.
If the new item chosen is more expensive than the returned item, you must pay the difference at the time of the exchange.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for headboards, footboards or box springs, and any clearance items.
We do however accept exchanges and returns on pillows, mattress covers, mattress protectors and sheets, provided that they have not been used and are in their original packaging.
