Techinical details

First, pillows are not recommended for children under two years of age for two reasons: children at this age do not need them and to avoid the risk of suffocation. When integrating the pillow for children, it must be small and very thin (approximately 2 inches) in order to promote the proper development of the spine. The best time to incorporate the pillow is when transferring children from their crib to a single bed. Children’s pillows should be hypoallergenic and anti-mite.

If for medical reasons (regurgitation, congestion, etc.) you need to elevate the head of your child under two years old, you could slide the pillow under the flat sheet so that the pillow is not not free in your child’s bed.

Inner cover: 68% polyester and 32% cotton fabric with a clasp that contains the buckwheat hulls. It is therefore possible to adjust the quantity of hulls desired or to empty the envelope of its contents to clean it.

Maintenance

All our covers have a clasp so it is possible to wash them. Hulls should be removed before washing. *Never put the shells in water. (see FAQs)

** Hulls are obtained during hulling of the buckwheat seed. These are hypoallergenic natural fibers. In addition, they have the property of not retaining body heat. So, in contact with the cushion, you don’t sweat.
